My sister Kim and her kids (Matthew, Nathan and Kaitlyn) were in Colorado while we were there. She was visiting from Ohio. We had a nice visit with her.

Tom Tamara Owen and Jillian Bonds

Thanks Tom and Tamra for letting us stay with you while we were in Colorado. We had a great time. Hope that Owen and Jillian catch up on their sleep.They really seemed to have alot of fun with the kids.We miss you already!

Dad's Awesome Hobby

I found out something about my dad that i didn't fully understand until i saw it in person. His hobby is model trains. He took us down to the place where he works on model trains and wow was it amazing. I have included some pictures of the displays he has been working on. GREAT JOB DAD!!!

Seven Falls

Thursday night the whole family went to Seven Falls. This is a really neat place to visit. Some of us were smart and rode the elevator up to the top of the mountain while others decided to trek up the 245 steps to view the falls. Jessica and Jami dances with the native americans.What a beautiful place.

Denver Aquarium

Wednesday we went to Denver to the aquarium with Tamra and the kids. It was really fun. We saw sharks, jellyfish, seahorses, watched the tigers and even fed stingrays. If you ever make it to Denver, you should visit this place.

The Royal Gorge Bridge

Tuesday Jerry and I took the kids to the Royal Gorge Bridge. This bridge is 1053ft above the Arkansas River. While there we took the tram from one mountain to another. W erode the incline railway 1500 ft to the canyon floor at a 45 degree angle. Jerry, Jessic and Jami rode the skycoaster. We had a great time here. Did you know that there are only 3 water clocks in the world and one is located at the Royal Gorge? Check out the picture!

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Monday Jerry and I took the kids to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We had a really great time. The kids fed crackers to the Giraffes. We saw a lot of neat animals. We then drove up to the top of the mountain to the Wil Rogers Shrine.

Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine

On Saturday we went with the family to Cripple Creek to tour The Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine. It was a really neat place. We went 1000 ft under ground so that we could tour the mines. The guide even gave us a rock with some gold in it at the end of the tour.

Vacation to Colorado

We spent our summer vacation in Colorado this year. We spent time with family and went to a lot of neat places. Thank you Tom and Tamra for letting us stay with you while we were there.
